A28-year-old man Ankush Pansare allegedly committed suicide at Kamshet after killing his children Dhanraj and Yuvaraj on Monday afternoon. Pansare had written a suicide note before ending his life in which he stated that he had killed his two sons somewhere near Nanded Phata on Sinhgad Road.

Ankush Pansare murdered his sons Yuvraj (4) and Dhanraj (6)

Ankush allegedly killed his sons — Dhanraj (6) and Yuvaraj (4). He allegedly drowned them in the waters of the Mutha right bank canal. It is suspected that after killing the two children, Ankush left Pune and went to Kamshet by local train.

Police Inspector Mahendra Rokade of the Government Railway Police (GRP) said that a suicide note was recovered from Ankush’s clothes. “The note states he and his step brothers had sold a piece of land for afew lakh rupees, but his step brothers cheated him by giving him only Rs 1 lakh.

He fought with them, but in vain. Troubled, Ankush allegedly decided to end his life but before doing so, killed his sons,” Rokade said. After a call from the GRP, Haveli PS authorities launched a manhunt for the boys. Police said the boys are still missing.
