An agent attempting to sell a five-bedroom house in Idaho has listed it for $66,000 less than its estimated market value — because it is infested with thousands of snakes, reports the Daily Mail.
Last year its owners gave up and walked away, allowing the house to fall into foreclosure — deciding that was a better option than living with the serpents slithering around in the ceilings and walls.
It was taken over by the lender, Chase Bank. Now, Realty Quest associate broker Todd Davis is faced with the daunting task of trying to sell it. ”I guess I need a snake lover,” he muses. “Or someone with multiple mongooses.”
The crocodile in Peter Pan happily went ‘tick-tock’ after swallowing an alarm clock. However, a crocodile in Ukraine has been less fortunate, reports the Daily Mail.
Zookeepers at an aquarium in the eastern city of Dnipropetrovsk were sceptical when a visitor claimed that Gena, a 14-year-old crocodile, had eaten her mobile phone.
Then they heard the phone begin ringing — inside the croc’s belly. Rimma Golovko, a new mother in her 20s, admits the accident was her fault. She stretched out her arm to snap a photo of Gena opening his mouth and dropped her phone into the water. “This should have been a very dramatic shot, but things didn’t work out,” she said.

A former chef has been given 15 days in jail after confessing to adding body hair, including pubic and chest hair, to a policeman’s bagel, reports metro.co.uk. Ryan Burke, 27, from New Jersey, admitted that he slipped in his own chest and pubic hair into a turkey, egg and cheese bagel sandwich.
He also pleaded guilty to aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, and retaliation for a past official action. Burke was trying to get his own back
after the officer had booked him for a traffic offence.
