I am a 29-year-old girl deeply in love with a 25-year-old boy. He reciprocates my feelings too. Due to constant stress at my place, I am suffering from health issues. So far we have avoided sex. But if you love a person so much, how long can one stay away from getting physically intimate with him? I know that using a condom is safe. But if it tears, I shall be left with no option but to take an Ipill, which will worsen my health. Are two methods of contraception useful or will it cause more failure? Please help.

If he uses a condom and it is found intact after the act, there is nothing to worry. If it bursts then the emergency contraceptive pills like Ipill should be taken. If you are taking the pill regularly throughout the month, then there is no need of a condom. Be positive and improve your health.

I am a 26-year-old girl. I have a boyfriend for the past six months. We love each other a lot. I am a non-smoker. But my boyfriend smokes a lot. He insists on having sex but I have refused. So he kisses me passionately and says that at least kissing is not a sin. But I am very scared of even kissing him. Is there any chance of me getting any disease from kissing a chain smoker like oral or throat cancer or any other ailment? I already have a ear and throat infection due to sinus. Please help. I love him a lot but I don’t want to love his ailment.

Only he can make up his mind to stop. The nicotine has bad effects on the heart, lungs and in time his erection and sperm production will be affected. You are right — do not what you do not want.

I am a 31-year-old man. I am single and have not had sex yet. I have seen other men’s penises when erect, the penis points upwards, that is towards their nose. On some other men it is parallel to the ground. My penis on the other hand points downwards, even when it is fully erect. Is this a problem? If yes, then which doctor should I go to and how much will the operation cost me? Please advise.

The vagina is not where your nose is. It is in the same direction your penis is pointing in. You will save yourself the trouble of manually positioning the penis during intercourse.
