I am a 46-year-old married man. I have no medical problems and have sex with my wife once a month. But I am more interested in masturbating, which I indulge in twice or thrice a week. For two months, after getting an orgasm — through masturbation or by having sex with my wife — I get aheadache. It persists throughout the day on the left side of my head. Why does this happen?

Visit your family physician to check your blood pressure and sugar levels. If required, he will refer you to a neurophysician to find out the cause behind the headaches. Why not masturbate along with your wife? By doing that, you could also satisfy her.

I am a 22-year-old man. The tip of my penis is covered by the foreskin and it itches a lot. I’ve even found things which look like small stones under it. Later I learnt that these were formed by semen. Whenever I try to slide the foreskin it hurts alot. Is it necessary to remove the foreskin?

A surgeon will be able to decide whether you need circumcision. Meanwhile, slide your foreskin back as much as it can go, and remove the smegma formed under it by washing with soap and water daily.

I am 28 and my wife is 26. We have been trying for a baby for seven months. We have sex on her fertile days as well as on other days. She has been getting her periods on time for five months. We are not on any kind of medication. However, she has not conceived. The gynecologist says there is no problem, except that my wife needs to lose some weight. Please advise.

Maybe your wife’s weight is an issue. Have you had your spermatic fluid examined? If not, please do so mmediately.

I am 30 years old. I consume three pegs of whiskey every day. Will this affect my chances of fathering a child?

Yes it can affect sperm formation adversely. Not only that, your habit can also have adverse consequences on your relationship with your partner.
