  Priyanka Mohite, Stylist

♦   Fashion funda: Dress up for yourself and not for others! I believe in looking good for myself.

♦   Comfort zone: A pair of jeans or loose pants fits the bill for me in a place like Pune. My comfort dressing changes according to location. For example, in Mumbai I prefer a summery dress as compared to denims in Pune. The scene changes for a night out, where a dress or a fitted outfit will work for me.

♦   Wardrobe necessities: A nice pair of denims, ganjis (best for a sunny day), well fitted white shirt, a dark coloured dress (bottle green, black, navy blue) and a blazer.

♦   My style icon: Kate Moss, she is a right mix of casual and formal. She manages to carry every outfit with grace and elan.

  Archita Agarwal, Law student

♦   Fashion funda: It’s a way of expression. Fashion is about being yourself and not succumbing to someone else’s thoughts. It is your platform to experiment and present oneself in the best way possible. It is also not always about matching your accessories and clothes but about exploring contrasts.

♦   Comfort zone: Dresses are my zone. From casual to chic to flowy ones, I am most comfortable in them. As the day sets in the length, colour and cut of the dress varies.

♦   Wardrobe necessities: SHOES!! I completely adore shoes and I end up changing into at least 10 pairs of them in a day.

♦   My style icon: I believe, no one can actually beat the way Sonam Kapoor dresses and carries herself. I keep a tab on her dressing styles and fashion trends.

  Sonam Parmar, Fashion student

♦   Fashion funda: What I wear becomes fashion for me! I never follow trends and create trends myself. I am more of a creator than a follower. Be it styles, cuts or the latest trend, I make sure I make heads turn!

♦   Comfort zone: I am not a great fan of skimpy or revealing outfits. I am most comfortable in jackets, jeans and flip flops for a nice bright day. For evenings, a jacket with accessories does wonders on an otherwise plain attire. I am comfortable in just about anything as long as I look presentable.

♦   Wardrobe necessities: I am a fashion designing student so it is very important for me to dress well and appear stylish. Jackets are like my first love, they make just about any outfit stand out. They also add a different perspective to any attire. Also, broaches, bows, ties and belts are must-haves to accentuate one's outfit.

♦   My style icon: Like I said I believe in making my own trends. I do look up to a few people in Hollywood and Bollywood for inspiration but not anyone in particular!

  Pooja Bhale, Conservation biologist

♦   Fashion funda: For me, fashion means being comfortable in whatever I am wearing and to be able to pull it off effortlessly. So, it could be just about any outfit, no particular brand!

♦   Comfort zone: A pair of jeans, a t-shirt and flat shoes. For me, this is like the most comfortable attire.

♦   Wardrobe necessities: A mix of different coloured t-shirts and smart jackets. They go well with any pant, skirt or shorts.

♦   My style icon: I have never really followed anyone as such...but I was always in awe of Princess Diana. She was a stylish woman!
