Heavy duty girl
Amruta Patki has the brawns to complement her beauty. She told your diarist about the time she carried a steadicam during a shoot, equal in weight to a fully grown man, at 60 kgs.
While shooting for the Marathi film Satya, Satyavan Ani Savitri, Patki was intrigued by her director’s hurried ways. She was wondering why he was trying to rush some of the shoots, until she realised the scenes had to be filmed using a steadicam.
For a camera so heavy, it was an ordeal for the cameraman to continuously hoist the equipment at perfect angles, the reason why the sensitive director was trying to finish the shoots as fast as possible. Being a good sport, Patki volunteered to carry the steadicam, but she could only manage to do so for two minutes.
Nevertheless, the film unit was impressed by her feat —how often do you come across pretty girls like her anyway?
Adult movie actress and new Bhatt darling Sunny Leone may not become a fixture in the family camp once Jism 2 hits theatres.
Rumour has it that Leone and director Pooja Bhatt were not the best of colleagues while shooting and things have only soured since with the producers not having allegedly honoured their end of Leone’s contract.
Only last month, Sunny thanked the movie’s crew on a social website, but left out Pooja’s name.
She pointedly thanked Mahesh Bhatt, saying “Thank you, sir, for directing me in all my dialog scenes.
You made it easy for me to follow your vision!” No need to read between the lines here – it’s all literal.
