The wait is finally over. The Pune edition of Maharashtra Times, the Times Group’s Marathi daily, will hit the stands in the cultural capital of Maharashtra from Friday, January 7.
President Pratibha Patil, who was in the city on Thursday, extended her best wishes to the edition. “Maharashtra Times is coming to Pune...very good... all the best,” said Patil, who was presented with a representative copy of the front page of the edition by Bhaskar Das, executive president, Times Group.
