After getting hurt on the sets of Patiala House, he again got injured, this time for Action Replayy

Akshay Kumar seems to be injury prone these days. After his injury on the sets of Patiala House, he got injured on the sets of Action Replayy, a couple of days back in Film City. Akshay was shooting at Film City for an end credit song with the entire cast. He sprained his ankle, while doing a complicated dance step. However, the person who rushed to his aid was none other than his mother-in-law Dimple Kapadia. A source from the sets said, “We were shooting at Film City for the song when Akshay sprained his ankle. The step was difficult and he hurt himself badly. The shooting was stopped for some time. Incidentally,Dimple Kapadia was shooting on the next floor for Patiala House and when she learnt that Akshay had injured himself, she came on the sets to check on his injury. She was very concerned and wanted him to visit a doctor immediately. However, Akshay felt that it was a minor sprain and he would be fine. She immediately called for medication and gave some desi ilaz to him. Akshay’s make-up man did what she told him to do and Akshay seemed fine after that. She made sure that he was absolutely well before he resumed shooting.” When contacted, Vipul Shah did not comment about Dimple Kapadia’s visit, but said, “Yes while we were shooting for our promotional song, Akshay did sprain his ankle. After a bit of physio and medication, he was absolutely fine and we started shooting again.” Vipul Shah’s Action Replayy brings back to screen the pair of Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai for the first time, after Khakhee. |
