Non-governmental organisations have announced various internships and fellowships for students.
The National Centre for Advocacy Studies has invited applications for its 18-month Advocacy Internship Programme, a programme that grooms young, dedicated professionals committed to social activism.
Programme officer Atul Sulakhe said that the programme helps youngsters to understand Indian society, politics and economy. Each intern is given a monthly stipend towards living expenses.
During the six month placement, NCAS negotiates with the field organisation for the lodging and a minimum amount of support for that period. Application forms should reach NCAS by June 10 and forms are available on www.ncasindia.org
Youth to Youth
Youth to Youth aims to help recognise the true spirit of youth and manifest their energy in constructive and creative social projects.
Ameya Jagtap, Mudra Shirwaikar and Prasoon Kanmadikar said that they provide internship opportunities to the youth so that they work in their field of interest and gain experience by working with experts.

Friends Union for Energising Lives (FUEL) has started the fellowship program Ahead of Times. for students who have appeared for AIEEE or MH-CET. It is supported by the Software Exporters Association of Pune (SEAP).
Ketan Deshpande of FUEL said that the fellowship comprises a residential orientation program from 15-29 May at India’s first ideal village Ralegaon Siddhi.
