It is not too late for the BU to modify the duration and course contents to make the basic Science course(BSC) more attractive and encourage students to join the course, infact as it was neglected over the years(should have been revised few years back itself) the impact of students not preferring the BSC has adversely affected the research scholars(Phd) in higher educational Institutions of repute like IISC and IISER etc.. in the country.Senior scientist in the country have been warning this since few years and it is high time that not only BU even other universities in the state should give a very serious thought on this issue, discuss with eminent educationalist and draft a modern syllabus and course materials in the proposed new format of BS and implement it soon to see that young boys/girls have interest to join and pursue basic science courses , otherwise new innovations will hamper and may get extinct

Certainly it will demoralize the other prospective officers courage. Government would have pick someone seniors instead extending. Every IAS officer dream is to become CS and most of them get that post tenure one to two years. By doing this so some eligible will may lose their tenure and enjoys only ten to fifteen months depends on their service.Someone challenge this in law of court to end this exercise.

The problem cannot be simply solved by dropping one character from BSc and adding another year to the duration of the course. If pure science students have to progress they need to be provided with education standard that is comparable to the best institutes all over the world. The BSc/BA/Bcom degree courses have become like high school certificate courses with the students really not developing their knowledge and skills but merely taking the course to get the degree. For better education and research labs we need more funds and that can only be sourced from the government and corporate sponsors. I am also a victim of this kind of education system and I did study BSc (Physics Chemistry Maths) but failed to obtain a degree certificate because I did not bother to study my language papers which was absolutely irrelevant to science but made compulsory for these courses.

Dear Mr Sharath Kumar, do you work in the hospitality industry? If yes, i would love to stay at your establishment as what you have put up is an open invitation to misuse.
Any contract, in this case the regsitration card clearly states the conditions of the same and all parties are expected to adhere to it.
Please note i am not defending this so called lodge which has the customer service attitude so prevalent in most of India, ie customer is an idiot.
However i do work in the industry and think i know of what I speak hence am requestign you to note that the onus for ones belongings is with the guest, except when the hotel takes the bag into its possession.
From a customer viewpoint if that bag was so bleeding important for this guy he should have carried it himself.
