- I am 19 years old. Whenever I watch porn, I masturbate simultaneously. After I am done, I feel extremely guilty about my behaviour. I feel this habit will have adverse effects on my body and concentration level. I don't even have a girlfriend.
There is nothing wrong, if you masturbate, but you should rarely use porn to arouse yourself. Rather, get yourself aroused by fantasising and by things you see, hear, etc. Do not feel guilty. Your body and concentration levels will not be affected.
- I am 29 years old. I got married six months ago. I had a good sex life until last week when I lost my erection just before penetrating. We tried having sex after that, but every time, I lose erection before penetration. I think it's the anxiety. I get a good erection during foreplay. I use condoms. Should I consult a doctor?
Not if you can get over your anxiety and the feeling that you will always fail. It is common to fail at times. It is nature's way to tell you that you are tired, not interested, etc.
- I am 26 years old. I indulged in protected anal sex with my neighbour. She is married. Are there chances of HIV infection?
HIV/AIDS has spread into the community, so who can tell. At least, you used a condom. Wait for three months and have yourself checked. Most probably you are safe.
- I am a 20-year-old woman. A few days ago, I indulged in foreplay with my boyfriend. He inserted his finger inside my vagina and it was very painful. Later, I tried to insert myself. I found that the vaginal lips are still intact. Is this serious?
If you started bleeding then your hymen has been ruptured. You could try inserting your finger with plenty of lubrication. With your fingers open either side of the lips and with a mirror, examine your vulval area. There is no need for concern.
