And so, make sure that you use shoe bags to help keep your shoes in shape between wears. Alternatively, pad them out with non-acid paper such as tissue. Stuffing the toes of your shoes with tissue paper will also enable them to retain their shape.

Using a leather cleaner will keep your shoes soft and supple. You can also disguise scratches if you apply a cream a shade lighter in colour.

Caring for leather shoes: It is important to treat your leather shoes with the right care. Leather designer shoes are required to be treated well and carefully to prevent the pair from cracking and falling apart.

In order to keep them looking it’s best, you have to clean, condition, polish regularly and preserve your leather shoes.

Caring for suede shoes: Suede shoes are made from leather with a soft napped surface. Suede is difficult to maintain, as it cannot be cleaned with water.

If you own a pair of suede shoes and don’t want to wear it during the rainy or winter season just because it might get damaged then all you need to do is apply silicon spray before wearing it.

For a speedier cleaning, rub a small amount of petroleum jelly and use spray glass cleaner. These are some handy tips that will extend life of your fave pair
